Schongau Summer From 3 - 12 Aug. 2018 at the fairground in Schongau

For 10 days, a city goes back to the Middle Ages. Visitors to the festival square (Lechuferstraße) are transported back several centuries. Experience the art of old crafts such as forging, glass blowing and paper washing. Copper work and jewellery are also on sale. Culinary delicacies make your mouth water. Aromatic scents invite you to eat and drink at every corner. Fools, jugglers, minstrels and minstrels roam the streets playing jokes, making music and playing games. The sounds of medieval music fill the whole market. In the petting zoo one experiences animals very closely. In addition, games are offered for the little guests every afternoon. After dark the historical market is far from over. Fire-eaters, fakirs and oriental dancers show their art. More than 70 stands will make the Historical Market an experience.
